Our story
TK Tables is now TK Garden Heritage
Same workshop. Same hands. Same Australian timber. A name that finally fits everything we make.
If you've bought from us before, you might know us as TK Tables. In June 2026, we changed our name to TK Garden Heritage, and we wanted to explain why, properly, rather than just quietly swap a logo and hope nobody noticed.
Why we changed the name
TK Tables started in 2010, and for a long time, tables were exactly what we made. But over the years, something became obvious: our customers weren't really shopping for a table. They were shopping for a look and a feeling, a natural, garden-integrated style that happens to include dining settings, but just as often means a bench seat, a raised garden bed, a planter box, or a memorial seat commissioned to honour someone.
"Tables" was never big enough for what we actually do. Our niche was always the garden itself, natural, biophilic, Australian hardwood furniture designed to belong outdoors, not just sit in it. So the name changed to match: Garden for the niche we actually serve, and Heritage for the promise behind every piece we build.
Why "Heritage"
Heritage isn't decoration, it's a promise. Customers come to us, especially for memorial furniture, because they want something built to outlast them: solid Australian hardwood, handcrafted here at home, made to be handed down rather than replaced. That durability is also why our furniture carries a premium price, it's made once, properly, in Australia, not imported or mass-produced.
What hasn't changed
- The same workshop, the same small team of Australian craftspeople.
- The same commitment to solid, structurally-graded Australian hardwood, no imported flat-packs.
- The same personal, one-on-one service, whether you're a homeowner or a commercial or civic client.
- Every order, warranty and enquiry from your time with TK Tables carries over exactly as it was.
What has changed
- A new name that reflects our real niche: natural outdoor garden furniture, not just tables.
- A broader range, including an expanding line of memorial furniture, in direct response to what our customers have been asking for.
- A refreshed look and colour palette, leaning into the natural, biophilic design our customers actually choose us for.

Quick answers
What the new name means for you
- Is TK Garden Heritage the same business as TK Tables?

- Where did TK Tables' website go?
- It now automatically forwards to tkgardenheritage.com.au. Nothing to update on your end.
- Will my existing order, quote or warranty still be honoured?
- Yes, in full, exactly as agreed under TK Tables.
- Do you still make tables?
- Absolutely, tables were where we started, and they're still a core part of the range. We've simply grown to make a lot more than that.
